I agree that the c6 is better looking, and the biggest difference in quality can be percieved in the interior. However, I'm been able to drive both, and would say that even though the c6 is easier to drive quickly..the '03 Z06 I drove felt more rewarding and a little sportier, and the 1-2 shift kept the engine on the boil better than the c6...which felt better, even if they run the same times. After shifting into second at 6500 rpm, the tach only falls to 5900, for an awesome second gear. At the strip, my friends z06 was turning uncorrected 12.3's and 12.4's, with high 1.8 60 foot times, and mid 90's in the 1/8. I haven't seen a c6 run at the same track, yet...but I haven't seen anyone post numbers that low on a bone stock c6 anywhere. Basically behind the wheel...it's a draw for me....but the '03 Z06 was $34k with 11,000 miles...hardly chump change, but way cheaper than a c6.
